The mobile phone is changing the way in which we live. The ability to touch someone in an instant from anywhere is becoming commonplace. While voice communication is still their primary use, mobile phones are rapidly becoming capable of much more.

Some of the first non-voice applications developed for mobile phones were games. They were simple, black and white, single player games with no sound but were still entertaining. With improvements in handset capabilities, beautiful full color games with sound and even multiplayer games have appeared almost over night. Even with this remarkable progress, the full range of possibilities has yet to be realized.

From the beginning, Essential Applications has been on the cutting edge, working in advanced mobile markets. We began offering services in Japan and have branched out to other countries as opportunities have presented themselves. Our early experiences have given us a distinct advantage when entering new markets.

We have an extensive portfolio of content that we offer to mobile users. Our current collection contains over 100 games and thousands of wallpapers and ringtones. All content has been released in at least one market and has sold very well. We are continuously adding content to take advantage of new functionality found in the latest handsets.

At Essential Applications we believe this is only the beginning. The truly useful and exciting mobile applications have yet to be dreamed of but when they are, we plan on being the company that brings them to you.
